Kevin grew up in Santa Barbara, California, and began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2010 under Fabio Leopoldo at just 15 years old. At the time, he was a high school dropout who had lost his place on the football team due to grades. Moving to Ojai to live with his aunt and uncle, Kevin found a new path on the mats. Jiu-Jitsu didn’t just give him a sport—it gave him a second chance at life.

Over the years, Kevin has proven himself on the world stage:

• 2021 – Represented the USA Grappling Team, winning bronze at the World Championships in Serbia.

• 2022 – Found sobriety and went on to win gold in Spain, without a single point scored against him.

• 2023 – Returned to claim another gold medal in Poland.

Kevin’s competitive spirit extends beyond Jiu-Jitsu—he has also built an 8-1 amateur MMA record and has stepped into the professional cage, where he stands 1-1 as a pro fighter.
